About Me
“Healing happens when we feel safe, seen, and supported.”
Hi, I’m Kim— Licensed Professional Counselor with over two decades of experience, a parent, dog mom, and someone who deeply believes in the power of growth and connection.
I work with individuals and couples navigating life’s challenges—whether it’s anxiety, relationship struggles, transitions, or just feeling stuck. My approach is warm, holistic, and grounded in creating a safe space where you can be fully yourself. No judgment—just curiosity, compassion, and a deep respect for your story.
Clients often tell me they feel truly seen and heard in our work together. I’m intuitive and tend to notice what isn’t always said out loud, offering insights that help bring clarity and meaningful change. I believe in the power of shifting self-limiting beliefs and reconnecting to your core values.
As someone who's been through my own hard seasons, I understand the overwhelm, the doubt, and the resilience it takes to keep going. I bring that understanding into every session, walking alongside you as you find relief, insight, and your own path forward.
Whether you’re looking to heal, grow, or simply catch your breath—I'm here to help you move toward a life that feels more authentic, grounded, and whole.
Training, Experience, and What I Bring to Therapy
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas (#92134), and it’s truly an honor to walk alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change.
Helping individuals and couples feel more connected, understood, and supported has always been at the heart of my work. I began my journey with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. From there, I became a university counselor at the University of South Florida, where I created a mentoring program to support first-generation college students—connecting them with trusted adult staff to help navigate the often overwhelming path to higher education.
I later earned my Master’s in School Counseling and spent over two decades working in schools with students from kindergarten through high school. While I loved supporting students, I felt a strong pull toward the deeper emotional aspects of the work—supporting mental health, not just for students, but for their families too.
That pull eventually led me to transition into private practice, where I now work with adults and couples in individual and couples therapy. I truly enjoy helping clients explore what’s holding them back, strengthen connections, and move toward a more fulfilling life.
Over the years, I’ve continued to grow my skills and training. I integrate a variety of evidence-based approaches and I’m also EMDR-trained.
